- EBRO has selected the LYRA 80 model, the most compact 80 kW fast charger on the market, designed and manufactured by FLOOX in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
- With a turnover of €3.5M, Catalan startup FLOOX has begun its international expansion into France, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, and Argentina.
Barcelona, 3 June 2025 – Spanish company FLOOX, a benchmark in fast and ultra-fast charging technology for electric vehicles, has integrated its LYRA 80 fast chargers into the EBRO factory, located in Barcelona’s Zona Franca industrial area.
The LYRA 80 chargers will serve the assembly line at EBRO’s plant, providing fast, reliable, and robust charging solutions tailored for industrial environments. FLOOX was chosen for the technical efficiency, sustainability, and compactness of its chargers, which are designed to integrate seamlessly into demanding production processes.
Local electric mobility
“The LYRA 80 is the most compact DC fast charger on the market in its power range, allowing it to be wall-mounted without sacrificing parking space,” says Martí Salvador, Managing Director at FLOOX. “For FLOOX, working with a historic brand like EBRO means much more than a commercial agreement: it’s a joint commitment to industrial innovation and sustainable, locally made mobility. We are proud that our chargers are part of EBRO’s rebirth and its dedication to a new generation of electrified vehicles manufactured in Barcelona.”
Manufactured in Barcelona using recycled steel and 90% recyclable components, the LYRA 80 allows for fast installation without civil works and offers remote preventive maintenance. Its ability to charge two vehicles simultaneously makes it an ideal solution for production plants. Moreover, it can recharge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes—fast enough to keep up with production rhythms without disruption.
National and international expansion
Until 2025, FLOOX had focused on the Spanish market, where it has already installed over 300 chargers nationwide. In 2024, its second year in operation, the company reported €3.5 million in revenue. This year, FLOOX took its first steps abroad, establishing a presence in France, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, and Argentina, and it plans to consolidate this expansion throughout 2025.
In fact, FLOOX recently participated in Power2Drive (Munich), Europe’s leading electric mobility trade fair, and will attend EVS38 (Sweden) in June, the world’s premier event for the sector.
